Wild Wise Woman sprouted in 1995 from my intention to honour the magic, wisdom and vitality of women. in the meantime it has developed into a flowering spiritual centre. A circle where women find their strength and their vulnerability and where we empower each other.

Find the woman in you, give her space and discover her wisdom

The name "Wild Wise Woman" comes from the wonderful book Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Estés uses these three words, wild wise woman, to indicate the primeval woman: the young girl, the timeless mother, and the wise old one. Together these form a power deep within us that makes us love, give birth, nurture and release. The force that constantly keeps you on track to do your thing. The you that you already were before your birth and will find at the end of your journey. The spark of your soul that can grow into a grand fire.

Originally, the name Wild Wise Woman almost was too big for me. I saw it as the force that bore me, I could not yet identify with it. Now, almost twenty years later, I am not shy when someone calls me ‘wild wise woman '. Working with this archetype has totally changed me. I dare to be myself more, also when I am vulnerable, I radiate and I live my inspiration. I can be quiet, I can dance and love and I live the mission of my soul. I always see new opportunities for further growth.

What Wild Wise Woman means to me:

* The wildness of a tiger, and the wisdom of Buddha and the femininity of Aphrodite.
* The place where I am nourished and can offer my wisdom
* A group of beautiful strong courageous vulnerable women
* A cauldron where energy, dedication and insight of so many women come together
* A breeding ground for new insights
* Magic rituals around a fire and under the moon
* Challenging rituals like sweat lodge and fire walking
* to stimulate each other in love to grow further
* A tribute to the wisdom of women now and thousands of years ago
* My contribution to thank and honour Mother Earth and life
