Beltaine in Avalon

Beltaine is The love festival... remember all the stories and dreams about priestesses serving in the temple to make love with passer by's.. it;s been one of the most misunderstood rituals. It was a moment out of time, graciously offered by a well trained priestess, intending to open the heart of the other.At beltaine, 1 May, the love energy in earth is so strong that it was easier to give this initiation.The priestess was supported by everything around her. 

To this day we are still celebrating Beltaine, and in Gklastonbury it is a big moment, with thousands of people from asll over the world flocking in to dance around Maypoles and jump over bonfires. The outer things are still being done... but much of the inner work around this ritual is forgotten. 

As founder and teacher of the Training programs Moon and Sun Priestess, I have been initiating women over the past 7 years. Much of the old wisdom is being disclosed in the process. I feel Iam close to the inner mysteries around awakening the heart and the kundalini energy. About the lessons of pleasure. Pleasure is more than fun, actually if we live it fully it brings us in widening mental and spiritual states. It brings us to see the Goddess in all her fertility and vastness.

I am far from claiming that all the old wisdom is at my fingertips. However, I do feel that it is time to share some of all this. What would be a better time and place to do this then the days before Beltaine, in Avalon?
