The Secret of Woman

With warm smiling eyes and disarming directness the female professor bent woards me and asked: 'and how is your sexual life?' is was 15 years ago, but I remeber it like yesterday.
I was in San Francisco because I had heard about a university where you could majoir in Women's Spirituality. I wanted to check this out, as I had given up my scientific career because of a not te be resisted urge to dive into women's spirituality. Could the two be combined then?
It was a profound journey with many beautifulencounters. Meeting with professor Elinor Gadon, author of Once & Future Goddess and the leading force behind this faculty, was extra special. Elinor told me how she had come on this path: 'as a young scientist I accompanied my husband on an assignment in India. I was immediately fascinated by the women there. They had something that I as free western woman craved. I put on sarongs, with nothing underneath, I lay in hammocks in the sweet warmth and I developed a new relationship to my body. I interviewed many Indian women. The secret of being a woman? The answer is in the body.'
In the Moon Priestess training program, that starts for the 8th time on sept 12, a group of women will explore and develop these secrets for themselves. When more than 100 women develop these powers, they are there for all of us... that is Rupert Shedlrake's promise with his morphogenetic field theory.
