An answer to betrayal

Faithfulness often seems the hoghest goal.But what to do when your partner has sex with another? Or when your ex refuses to take care of the childeren anymore? Or when you yourself have always sacrificed yourself and cannot do it anymore? Then what?
In these moments Rumi comes to you. He offers you that in your need help will come. But you already knew that. He also invites you to turn your vision of life around and make this the cornerstone. Then the conceptes of faith and betrayal become irrelevenat, and only then can you experience love without conditions. This was the foundation of the spiritual belief system of derwishes, mystics and priestesses.
Theresa of Avilia, a Spanish mystic form the middle ages, was very rigorous in this. Her students were not allowed to have any goods. Even leftovers of the meals were given away. Every day again she demanded trust that we will be nourished. In times of crisis you yourself can experience the truth of this. The derwishes as the ancient priestesses founded their spirituality on this.

are torn down, the dervishes can begin
their comnmunity. not until faithfulness
turns to betrayal into trust
can any human being become
part of the truth
