Somewtimes it is necessary to let everything and everone be and to dive into the waters of the soul. Clarissa Pinkola Estés in Women Who Run With the Wolves describes this graphically as: remembering that actually you are a seal in disguise, only temporarily living on the land. the sea is your home. Pull back onyour sealskin and dive back into the waves. let yourself be carried again, dance with sister seals, and loll in the infinite waters. In the anicent women's traditions this was called: becoming a virgin again. my summer was like that.
