while i sit in the sweatlodge, I strat to realize that I am trying to do it on will power. and that you can never surrender to Lady death on will power. it has to come from the heart. the next round, the heat is the same, but the experience is different.the pain in my heart comes up again, but now a song comes, and i Join it. 'earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and firemy spirit.' The song invites me to pray, to surrender, to let go...
