Therapist or guru?

Therapist or guru? Who can point you the road to happiness? In Zen they call it the relative or absolute approach. The therapist will follow you where you are and step by step free the way with you to more happiness. The guru of high priestess will bring you into direct contact with the Goddess. The strength of this meeting burns through resistances. Eventually both ways complement each other. Contemporary spiritual teachers will often make use of both of them. Releasing more persistent patterns gives rise to much fear. And then much light is needed to make it bearable.How did the rose?
