King Arthur and the Circle

2000 people stand hand in hand in a circle. We stand in silence. We feel the power of this circle+ unity and connection. We can trust thatI will make space for you, and you for me, and the earth for both of us. 2000 people stand together and each of us have this same experience.
When
asked a few months ago to lead the Opening of The Eigentijds festival,
this was my dream. On June 11 2009 it became reality. In the moment it
felt natural, well known. it was not until the morning after, alone at
sunrise, that the magnitude of this broke through to me. Moved i
wondered what had made it possible. Also I was feeling contained
by a bigger power, a sensation I had also had during the opening
ritual. Suddenly I realized that the sense of containment was the
missing key.
A
story sprang up, of how Arthur once had become King. He had been able
to free a sword from a stone that no strong knight could free. It was
because he had applied the teachings of Merlin.. he had attuned to the
power of all the animals and had asked them to be with him. Yes, that
was how it had worked for me too. I had aligned with all the people who
had parts in the ritual, with the circle, the energy spots of the land,
the trees, the wind, the lake and the fire, and also my inner chakra´s.
I felt their power with me during the ritual... and that made it
all happen.
